Yesterday, I blogged about my outfit’s Victorian-Vegan-Manhattan setting resemblance. In this blog, I always talk about how I genuinely admire Blair Waldorf’s sense of style. So if you see me channeling her frequently, I won’t be sorry, for her style is meant to inspire me.
I wore this look on our tv guesting/feature in a local channel in Pampanga. I wanted to look more appealing, up-to-date and since we’re meeting new faces from the local media, building an impression is one essential factor to consider. Dressing up is a business in itself. If you dress up impressively, there’s a higher chance you’ll attract your target market easily. It goes the same with dressing up accordingly and appropriately. You have to know when to dress up, dress down, excessorize or execute minimalism. When attending meetings and interviews, it’s mandatory to look professional. Plus, if you’re a blogger, you know you’re obliged to be fashionable at the same time. Blacks are a fail-safe resort when it comes to this sitch!
What I wore: Long-sleeve top from BYSI, random corporate skirt, peplum mullet belt/skirt designed by me for Quirkypedia, DIY collar, envelope bag from Parisian, silver armour ring from Australia, pumps from Jellybean.
