Yes, I don’t know how to jump, but Let’s Get Goin’ to the outfit!
My kind of comfy wear is a sweater-shorts-boots/closed flats combo, plus a hat to accessorize. I wore this look to our Merry Go Bazaar, since the event required a lot of moving and walking.
One of the things I love doing is DIY-ing. I do not mind rummaging on a heap of clothes to find an overused or old item of clothing to experiment on, such as this top and pair of shorts. When I wore this, I heard my cousin say, “Wow, everything on you in altered.” And I was like, “Yeah! I didn’t realize. Coolbeans!!” 🙂
I bought this top at a thrift store.Yes, by now you can tell I’m a mortal-ized thrift store. I just love the things you find in them, you don’t have to feel insecurely dressed up worrying that you’ll spot the same dress worn by other people.
As for the shorts, I myself bleached them overnight. You should try it yourself, too!
On another note, I’m impressed by how accessories can instantly glam up a dull outfit. In this case, I felt that a top-shorts combo is incomplete, so I ransacked through my bracelet collection and grabbed whatever fell into the blue-black-silver-white mishmash. Instant gleam, right?
What I wore: Thrifted/DIY top;DIY shorts; SO Fab Loafers, random bracelets, F&H Fedora Hat.
If you like this look, you can hype it on Lookbook.
