If I would have a list of places that I would never get tired visiting, Singapore would be one of them, without any doubt. Circa 2010, I had a chance to visit the country, but I only had a day to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, scenic view and picturesque attractions. Considering that, I knew I had to go back and get the chance to visit Singapore once more.
I could actually be considered one lucky blogger when I got a project tour proposal from AirAsia Philippines to visit the city that never sleeps, Singapore. Meet my travel buddies, the bloggers-media group composed of (L-R) Vince, Jaypee, Robbie, Christian and Melai. When I went on lurking around their blogs, I was surprised yet privileged to have found out that I’m going to have to travel with such experts in the field of blogging, who already made a mark in the social media industry.

AirAsia’s inaugural flight to Singapore, which flew from Clark International Airport, December 15, 2012, 6:10 am, was indeed successful. With us during the flight and the whole tour was music maven Jim Paredes. On the plane ride, we sang our way to Singapore as he led us to the tune of 12 Days of Christmas.
AirAsia Philippines is a low-cost carrier based in the Philippines.AirAsia Philippines’main hub of operation is at the Clark International Airport in Angeles City, Pampanga. Their travel destinations include Kalibo, Davao, Kuala Lumpur, and the recently launched Singapore and Taipei.
Based on my experience, it’s my fourth time to travel with Air Asia. On all my flights, I have always witnessed their exceptional services. Starting from the airport– they have self-check in kiosks (or you can even check-in online to avoid the hassle of the long queue of people), to the plane and the flight itself (their cabin crew and staff are very accommodating and attentive to the passengers.)
Aside from the flattering services, they also have low-priced fares. Fly in to their local and international destinations (Kalibo, Davao, Taipei and Singapore) from P699 (all-in-one fare) or avail of their Rainy Day travel rate from P499. Reality be told, these are the lowest airfares I have heard about.
If you are planning to go on a package tour, you can book your hotel, tours & packages and other activities through their partner company, AirAsiaGo. Check out their rates online.
I was beyond privileged and blessed to have my trip sponsored by AirAsia. To say that this trip was fun is an even an understatement and I can’t think of any best word to describe the lucky opportunity. Once again, of the numerous thank you’s I have let out, this one goes from the bottom of my heart, Thank you so much AirAsia Philippines for this rare opportunity to take me to one of my favorite places in the world!
