As the culinary capital of the country, restaurants in Pampanga are known for their mouthwatering dishes that serve every foodie’s appetite in the best way possible. Included in my list of favorite food chains and cafes is KCafe.
K Cafe is more commonly known for its sweet delicacies baked by the owner herself, Ms. Caren Kwong, but the satisfaction isn’t confined in sweets alone. A batch of heavy meals was served to us, right in time for Father’s Day Celebration (last June 18, 2016). It was what seemed like a feast of favorite comfort food associated with KCafe’s own signature style on each dish. Here’s the menu for the day!
Served with mash potato and coleslaw on the side, I’m sure meat lovers like me would have another go-to meal listed on their food archive.
(Bangers and Mash)
KCafe’s sausages are the bomb, that they actually fit the ‘bang’ in ‘Bangers’! :p Pun aside, they’re one of the best sausages I’ve tasted by far.
This is a reco for hearty meal lovers, prepared with rice and sided with healhty veggies. It’s signature sauce also made it a standout.
(Bacon and Steak Kebab)
Ideal for meat aficionados, KCafe’s Bacon and Steak Kebab is served with its special concocted sauce, perfect when drizzled on top of this sumptuous dish.
Rarely will you hear about and taste sisig made of steak, right? Sisig is a homegrown Kapampangan dish, and restaurants everywhere always think of surefire ways to reinvent this platter. KCafe’s very own sisig has a variety to choose from, one of these is the Steak Sisig with meat that’s tender and a taste so fine, definitely a must-try.
KCafe is also home to fruit shakes and frappes. If you’re up for something new, try the Dragonfruit shake! 😉
And of course, your food trippin’ at KCafe wouldn’t be complete without trying their signature sweets. A personal favorite of mine is their Red Velvet cheesecake and I’ve heard their Strawberry Shortcake is exceptional as well, so don’t miss out on ordering these when you dine there!
The team with KCafe’s owner, Ms. Caren Kwong. Thanks for you warm accommodation! 🙂
